Dustin T. Nichols was born in Jackson, Michigan on April 23, 1979. He earned his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Zoology from the University of Florida in 2002. Upon graduation, he began a first career as a Marine Biologist at the Newfound Harbor Marine Institute in the Florida Keys. In 2004, he returned to his hometown of Orlando, Florida to pursue a second career in the practice of law. He attended law school at Barry University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Nichols’ aptitude as a trial lawyer flourished. In 2006, he was voted, by faculty, as the “Best Advocate” of the law school’s nationally recognized Trial Team. In 2007, he was one of only twenty students nationwide selected as a “Partnership in Advocacy Scholar”. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2008.
Following law school graduation, Mr. Nichols worked as a litigation associate at the law firm Hershoff, Lupino & Yagel located in Tavernier, Florida. In 2010, he and his wife, Anna, relocated to North Carolina. That same year, Mr. Nichols became a member of the North Carolina Bar and opened his law practice in King, NC.
Mr. Nichols is a member of the King Rotary Club, King Chamber of Commerce and Triad Gator Club.
